  • What is a "Fanlisting"?
    To quote from the TAFL website: "A fanlisting is a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Fans from around the world submit their information to their approved fanlisting and they are then listed to show their love for the subject." Everyone can join a fanlisting.

  • About "Houkigumo"
    It is the 1st Opening Theme from Yakitate!! Japan (episodes 1-29). It is also the ending theme for episode 69.

    Sung by RYTHEM, it has a very catchy tune, and is probably one of the most memorable themes in the anime. For more information about the band, you can read the Wikipedia entry about them.

  • What is the series all about?
    It's all about bread :) One of it's alternative titles is "Baked Fresh!! Ja-Pan". The "pan" in the title has a double meaning. Not only does it refer to the country of Japan, it also refers to the bread. "Pan" is a term for bread. They say it was a pun on the part of the mangaka. So Ja-pan = Japanese Bread. It makes sense since it's the goal of the main protagonist, Azuma Kazuma, to make the ultimate Japanese bread.

    - The Anime News Network entries on Yakitate!! Japan (anime/manga) has complete information on its seiyuu, publishing companies, news, episode titles, etc~. It also lists several interesting trivias about the anime.
    - Fresh Baked! is a comprehensive fansite for both the anime and manga.

  • About the lay out
    Lay out was made using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and WordPad. Credits for the resources used are as follows: brushes used came from Moargh; the textures used came from Synthoxide.net. Tested with Mozilla Firefox 2+ and a resolution of 1024x768. CSS2 validated.
